Death is an unceasing truth of human living. The fact however, is that only human bodies are subjected to decease and not their souls, which keep on continuing their journey from one body to another. The bottom line of life and death fact thereby is that “souls are immortal”.

But, what if souls carry personality of the former the body to another one? Here, crops up a new concept of the perpetual birth-death-birth cycle, where a soul migrates from the body to body binding those two beings together.

This phenomenon that transcends the belief of humanity is known as “Reincarnation.” A re-arrival of an immortal soul or spirit on earth in a newfangled body, after the death of the body, is something that is known as reincarnation. Sometimes it is also referred as transmigration of the soul.

Reincarnation, which is a comeback trip to the land of the mortals, is encircled by a couple of theories. One of them states that the status of each consecutive body, whether human or animal, is the straight result of the quality of life the soul maneuvered in the preceding body. This lucidly affirms, that "good" led life make-ups in rebirth to a superior quality form, and “bad” led life make-ups in renewal to a poorer quality form. This onward and rearward succession of rebirth is said to be based on the Law of Karma, a central groundwork of Hinduism and other Eastern-based values and beliefs. Reincarnation is one of the central dogmas of Hinduism and Occultism, deviations of which have grown and well-accepted in the Western world topically.

According to Buddhism there are six different arenas of rebirth. One can revisit earth in any of these forms, depending on the actions of their former liver. The realms stipulated are- the realms of Gods, Demigods, Human beings, Beasts, Ghosts and the Hells. Thus, soul can recombine to dwell in the body of entity belonging to any of these realms. Each realm however, symbolizes a dissimilar existence in concrete form, and each time it is a new experience. Though, reincarnations are quite possible, no reincarnation attains the plane of eternity, because each time a new life is susceptible to embark in a new form.
